With our new embedding cassettes featuring a plug-in lid, we are specifically expanding our portfolio with a variant designed for laboratories equipped with suitable printing systems. It is particularly intended for applications where cassettes are printed with the lid closed.
The optimized design offers a choice between two lid variants. In addition to the established clip-on lid, the new plug-in lid is inserted at the front, folded backward, and securely closed. This allows the cassette to adapt to different workflows and requirements in the laboratory.
A key advantage: the cassettes are supplied threaded onto a strip with the lid closed. This enables efficient processing and ensures smooth use with common printing systems.
The lid opens to nearly 180°, allowing for convenient and precise embedding of samples. At the same time, the design supports easy manual handling if lids need to be attached individually.
