In its latest product test, “Safety devices put to the test: Blood collection systems” (BGW 09-14-043, as of 01/2025), the German Social Accident Insurance Institution for the Health and Welfare Services (BGW) examined a total of 16 blood collection systems in terms of safety, ergonomics, and handling. The report serves as a guide for healthcare facilities to select safe and user-friendly products that support protection against needlestick injuries and efficient workflows.
